Terms and Conditions
Welcome to PrintLabX. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PrintLabX platform, including our mobile responsive printing portal, software applications (PrintLabX Automate), micro-hardware units (PrintLabX Pi), autonomous self-service terminals (PrintLabX Kiosk), and the Seller Dashboard.
By accessing or using the Platform as an everyday consumer ("User") or registering as an authorized printing hub operator ("Seller"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to the ecosystem owned and operated by PrintLabX, including software, API interfaces, hardware components (Pi/Kiosk), websites, and dashboards.
- "User" refers to any individual who accesses the Platform via QR code scan or direct URL to upload documents, configure settings, and execute print jobs.
- "Seller" / "Partner" refers to independent business entities, shop owners, institutional representatives, or individuals who host PrintLabX solutions and operate a registered seller account.
- "Print Job" refers to the digital file uploaded by a User, along with configuration instructions, sent to a designated PrintLabX connected terminal for physical reproduction.
2. Platform Usage for Everyday Users (Consumers)
2.1. Access and Registration
- Users are granted access to the web-based print portal via scanning localized PrintLabX QR codes.
- No mandatory account registration or application download is required for basic print execution.
2.2. User Document Content and Legality
Users retain full ownership of all text, data, files, images, and documents uploaded to the Platform. Users strictly warrant that they possess the legal right, copyright, or authorization to print the uploaded materials. Users shall not upload or attempt to print any material that:
- Infringes on third-party intellectual property, trademark, or patent rights.
- Contains counterfeit currency designs, fraudulent identification documents, or government seals without explicit authorization.
- Is legally classified as obscene, defamatory, highly confidential, or incites violence.
PrintLabX and its Sellers reserve the right to abort any print job visibly violating local law enforcement guidelines.
2.3. Automated File Deletion Policy
- To guarantee absolute user privacy, PrintLabX utilizes transient cloud data handling.
- Documents uploaded by a User are end-to-end encrypted during transfer.
- The precise millisecond a print job is processed and output by the physical printer terminal, the digital file is automatically and permanently purged from PrintLabX cloud servers within 30 mins. PrintLabX cannot recover a file once printed.
3. Terms for Registered Sellers & Partners
3.1. Account Onboarding and KYC
- Sellers must provide true, current, and accurate credentials, bank account details for digital payouts, and physical site locations during sign-up.
- PrintLabX reserves the right to suspend accounts displaying fraudulent business credentials.
3.2. Hardware Binding and Security
- PrintLabX Pi hardware and PrintLabX Kiosk terminals require strict digital registration.
- Once initialized, the physical hardware layer binds and locks directly to the Seller’s unique digital account credentials. Sellers shall not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or illicitly transfer PrintLabX proprietary hardware units to unregistered third-party profiles.
3.3. Cash Flow & Verification Loop
- Sellers operating a blended online/cash desk agree to handle the cash-payment approval workflow honestly and promptly.
- When a User selects "Cash Payment," the Platform securely queues the print job. The Seller is responsible for physically collecting the funds and clicking "Approve Payment" from their Seller Dashboard to instantly release the print job. PrintLabX holds no liability for prints released by Sellers without verifying physical cash collection.
3.4. Printer Capability and Upkeep
- Sellers must accurately define their terminal capabilities (e.g., Color vs B&W limits, paper dimensions, pricing matrix) on the dashboard.
- Sellers are solely responsible for physical printer maintenance, including maintaining adequate paper supplies, toner/ink levels, and clearing mechanical errors like paper jams.
4. Payments, Billing, and Financial Transactions
4.1. Pricing Structure
Print job pricing is calculated dynamically based on configuration variables chosen by the User (page count, color profiles, single/double-sided format) and the base rates configured by the specific location's Seller. All final costs are fully visualized to the User before completing a transaction.
4.2. Payment Processing
Digital transactions (UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, Digital Wallets) are secured via bank-grade third-party payment gateways. PrintLabX is not responsible for failed transaction loops stemming from isolated banking server downtime or weak cellular networks belonging to the User.
4.3. Refunds and Failed Print Remediation
If a digital transaction is successful but a mechanical terminal error occurs (e.g., paper jam, hardware disconnect, ink depletion), the User must instantly tap the "Raise Support Ticket" option on their mobile screen.
Verified technical faults stemming from Platform software failure or hardware communication loops will be routed for automated gateway refunds. Disputes involving offline cash transactions must be settled directly on-site between the User and the counter Seller.
5. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
5.1. "As-Is" Service Provision
The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. PrintLabX makes no structural guarantees that operations will remain entirely uninterrupted or free from hyper-localized mechanical glitches.
5.2. Operational Exclusions
PrintLabX shall not be held liable for:
- Any formatting anomalies, structural misalignments, or scaling errors chosen by the user during file configuration.
- Poor physical print qualities resulting from suboptimal, unmaintained hardware or depleted ink stocks belonging to independent Sellers.
- Loss of user time or data due to unforeseen local power failures or localized ISP cellular outages.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- The visual layout, proprietary software code, UI micro-interactions, hardware architectural blueprints, brand names, logos, and trademarks associated with PrintLabX are the exclusive intellectual property of the PrintLabX parent entity.
- No User or Seller is granted an explicit license to copy, replicate, crawl, or scrape any design components or software infrastructure of the Platform.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdictional Authority
- These Terms are governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the prevailing regional laws.
- Any legal actions, arbitration processes, or statutory disputes arising directly from your interaction with the Platform shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located near the primary corporate registration base of PrintLabX.
8. Modifications to the Terms
PrintLabX reserves the fundamental right to revise, update, or patch these Terms at any given time. Users and Sellers are advised to inspect this page periodically to keep track of modifications. Continued interaction with the platform following structural updates implies binding consensus with the revised terms.
